    Half the snow in our yard has melted, so I went to the cabin today where we store and throw things thinking I would grab a lawn chair so I could sit in the sun and read Late Migrations by Margaret Renkl. Then I got curious and a little panicked about the mouldering cardboard boxes and what they contained. I only had to throw a few things out because mice had chewed through old high school ephemera and whatnot. But I sorted through the rest and brought it inside, where I discovered a CD containing these three songs among others that made it onto what I "released" as Chickadee. I thought they were gone forever. "Allwright" betrays my love of Vic Chesnutt to an obvious degree, but 42 year-old me is curious about the others. They were probably recorded in 2003 or 2004 but I don't know what plans I had for them almost half my life ago. Maybe there will be something enjoyable here for you.
